Need a few more details. What were the details when you brought it. Has it defiantly got EmulationStaion on it. VPN Manager only works with certain OS’s such as LibreElec and OpenElec plus Windows.

Check the log”.

I am very much a beginner with raspberry pi. I got it already with Kodi installed. So I have no idea how to exit out of kodi and let my Raspberry Pi 3 load into EmulationStation.

Can anyone help me with my problem? Thanks!

Please refer to the developers Wiki page:

You could always install the software for your specific VPN on your windows system and connect via that if you have problems.

What is this the top of the article referring to? Thanks
=======================
VPN Manager Requirements
Current platforms supported are:

OpenElec (v5 onwards)
LibreElec (v7 onwards)
Linux (OSMC, Raspbian etc)
Windows (v7 onwards)

Thanks for your response.

OpenELEC and LibreELEC (of which I am a fan of), are useless with all due respect in a hotel Wifi set up which requires logging in to a web page. But I’m not blaming you! I was just hoping my workaround would work, as I haven’t seen any VPN retailers provide software that isn’t a fork of Brian Hornsby’s excellent code or provide a convenient VPN client for Linux/Raspbian.

I have seen some other vague plentiful SSH commands to initiate OpenVPN in Raspbian but they are too complex for me, especially as all functionality is tied in to SSH. Do you have any further thoughts which could point me in a better direction please?

Many thanks.
